INTERNSHIP... The Meaning

INTERNSHIP

Sitting as an intern and typing this word with the set combination obligated me to write on this because what thesaurus said and what I face is totally different.

PLACEMENT: We must always keep that in mind, Internship has no relation with Placement, because we’ve been hearing that placement is something that our college provides us and internship is something that our college provides us :P ( sounds same but the difference is , earlier is permanent and latter is temporary). We work for 2-3 months, I mean we sit in the office for 2-3 months and working hours are approximately 20-30 in total. Being an intern we are so lucky because we can roam around, we can poke anyone ( i don’t do) and we can watch movies ( the best part being an intern)

POSITION: Position is nothing if we are working as an intern; we get a system without a net connection ( No access to FB) we sit on the chair and keep looking at who enters and who exits, we can have lunch at the specified time and drink as many coffee as we can so as to be awake and alert. One position during internship is BE THE CHAIRPERSON and we do the NOT SO REQUIRED WORK in the required period of time and then go back to the hostel and feel tired as if you’ve been working since ages.

JOB: No job. Only line that best explains the Job of an intern is “YOU ARE BUSY DOING NOTHING”

( This was the third piece of writing from me and as I’ve mentioned I’m doing this unnecessarily because I’m  busy doing nothing, this is my job and I’m placed on this position )

Well, that was the short yet boring explanation of Internship and now I sign off :D
